Acceptable Use Policy
Effective date: 2026-06-16 · Operated by: Florante Pascual
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") defines how you may and may not use StrataProtocol.org, operated by Florante Pascual. It supplements the Terms of Use; violating this AUP is a violation of those Terms. Our goal is simple: keep the Service useful, secure, and fair for everyone.
1. Purpose
The Service exists to publish documentation for STRATA Protocol and to provide member accounts and member-only implementation materials. This AUP sets the boundaries that protect that purpose and the people who rely on it.
2. Permitted Use
You may use the public documentation freely, and you may use the member materials of your tier — including templates and prompts — for your own personal and organizational projects. You may reference and apply the framework in your work.
3. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
- Access, or attempt to access, accounts, data, or areas of the Service you are not authorized to use.
- Share account credentials, or otherwise allow others to use your account, to circumvent membership tiers.
- Redistribute, resell, sublicense, or publicly republish member-only templates, prompts, or other member materials, in whole or in part.
- Scrape, crawl, or perform bulk extraction of the Service's content beyond ordinary personal use.
- Probe, scan, or test the security of the Service, or attempt to bypass its authentication or access controls, without our prior written authorization.
- Disrupt or degrade the Service, including by overloading it, introducing malicious code, or interfering with other users.
- Use the Service to store or transmit unlawful, infringing, or harmful content, or to violate the rights of others.
4. Member Materials
Member materials are licensed to you for use, not for redistribution. Re-publishing them outside your own projects, or sharing them to let non-members bypass membership, is prohibited and is among the most serious violations of this AUP.
5. Enforcement
We enforce this AUP proportionately to the violation, using the account-management tooling available to our administrators. Depending on severity and recurrence, enforcement may proceed through escalating tiers:
Warning
For a first or minor violation, we may issue a warning and ask you to correct the conduct.
Suspension
For a continued or serious violation, we may temporarily suspend your access to some or all of the Service.
Account disablement
For a severe or repeated violation, we may disable or remove your account.
We may skip directly to suspension or disablement where a violation is severe, unlawful, or poses a risk to the Service or other users.
6. Reporting Abuse
If you become aware of conduct that violates this AUP — including unauthorized access, credential sharing, or redistribution of member materials — report it to support@strataprotocol.org.
7. Data Handling After a Violation
Where we suspend or disable an account for a violation, we handle any associated personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, including the retention periods described there.
8. Governing Law
This AUP is governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada, consistent with the Terms of Use.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this AUP from time to time. When we make a material change, we will revise the effective date above and publish the updated policy on this page.
